Ronnie was born in a room facing the Caribbean Sea on an island only 27 kilometers in size. Soon after his birth, someone carried Ronnie to the shore and showed him the ocean. From that moment, Ronnie felt the passion for the Sea. Ronnie's first scuba diving experience was with his father when he was 11 years old where he learned the immensity of the ocean. He got his Junior Open Water Certification at 13 years-old and has never stopped diving.

Ronnie left the island and arrived in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico in 2007 and quickly fell in love with the Cenotes and submerged caves. That same year, Ronnie fulfilled a lifelong dream when he founded his own dive shop, Ronnie's Dive Zone, which combined his two great passions: the water and teaching.

Now, Ronnie is a PADI and SSI full-cave certified Master Dive Instructor with more than 5,000 dives (he lost track of the exact number) and has taught more than 8,000 people over his nearly 30 years of diving. Ronnie teaches various courses from beginner to professional levels with the most recognized diving associations worldwide, such as SSI, PADI, and TDI.

Ronnie dedicates this achievement to the person who showed him the Sea for the first time and to the one who showed him how beautiful the Sea is. One of these may rest in peace.
